New joint venture at Bawadi unveiled

Located near to Bawadi in Dubailand, the development is expected to become home to 55,000 people by the time it has been completed.
Issam Galadari, managing director of Emaar Bawadi, said that the partnership of Emaar and Bawadi for developing Asmaran complements the Dubai Strategy Plan.
"Emaar and Tatweer are two of the leading developers in Dubai, and Asmaran will benefit from the synergies derived from the experience of both to deliver a world-class project managed by Emaar," he stated.
According to developers, the project is envisioned as the longest hospitality, shopping and entertainment boulevard in the world.
Up to 51 hotels housing 66,000 rooms are expected to be contained within its ten mile stretch.
Emaar's portfolio of real estate developments includes Burj Dubai, the world's tallest building, and the Dubai Mall, one of the world's largest entertainment and shopping destinations.
