AMS to offer property worth over 1bn AED
Aswaq Management Services (AMS) announced that it will be offering a series of properties worth over 1 billion AED (£138.8 million) at the Cityscape Abu Dhabi 2008 event.

The company is expected to use the event, which takes place between May 13th and May 15th at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, to showcase its portfolio of projects, including Bawabat Al Sharq in Bani Yas, Abu Dhabi.

AMS is to announce that the area within Downtown Al-Areen – a mixed-use property development in the Kingdom of Bahrain – will be ready for leasing during the event.

Nasser Mohammed Al Nowais, chairman of AMS, said: "Amidst the real estate and property boom in the Middle East, AMS is proud to be involved with such unique projects at Cityscape Abu Dhabi, one of the prestigious events in the global property calendar."

The Bawabat Al Sharqn consists of a mixture of residential, commercial and retail facilities spread across up to 108 hectares of land.

AMS manages a variety of real estate projects in the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Jordan and Lebanon.
